The "ARTastic" condo at The Village At Gruene Condos will be complete in October, 2008. A three bedroom, two bath that that can sleep 8. Each bathroom has both a shower and tub. The master bedroom will have a king size bed and a roll away twin.The second bedroom will have a queen size bed and the third bedroom will have two twins. Each bedroom will have a bed side table with clocks and a radio/CD player. One closet will have a port-a-crib if needed. The bathrooms will have complimentary shampoo, body wash, lotions and a hair dryer, and plenty of soft towels.
The condo also has a washer and dryer for the guests' convenience. Comfortable chairs and a large thin HD TV with cable.
The kitchen may be more well-equipped than that of the guests' personal homes! It features granite counter tops, all major appliances, as well as a blender, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, electric mixer, frying pans, pots, plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, cork screw and a complimentary bottle of wine. Next to the coffee maker, we'll include some complimentary gourmet coffee and filters. There will also be paper products for the guests' use.
This unit is decorated with art from local artists (such as the owner) and most is for sale. If the guests are interested in buying any, just let Vacation New Braunfels know, it can be added to your bill, and you can take it home.
At the rear of the condo, off the living room and master bedroom, there is a large balcony with comfortable chairs and a breakfast table overlooking the Guadalupe River. From the balcony, guests can also see the beautiful
walkway down to the river where there is a barbeque pit; and guests can take a dip in the
cool water where the rapids are gentle and peaceful.
Once outside the front door, it is only a few steps to the beautiful pool with a large waterfall and tropical plants. How many lodges can boast of water at the front door AND back?
Also within walking distance, there are wonderful restaurants and at most you'll have the option of eating outside overlooking the river or inside in air conditioned comfort where most tables have a view of the river and/or tree tops. Two are just a two minute walk and the others are just a 4 or 5 minute walk.
Next door is a great Antique store and the Gruene River Grill, and the Grist Mill is just 3 or 4 doors down next to Gruene Hall, where you can enjoy music and dancing at night.
Schlitterbahn Waterpark in downtown New Braunfels and Landa Park are just a few
miles away, but you may find there's plenty to do and see right here in Gruene. We think Gruene rocks!!! We know you will too.
